The NYS Department of Health is help local health departments across the state build the infrastructure to provide essential public health services, including family health, epidemiology & opioid response.

In 2024, the NYS Dept. of Health heard a common need from employees across the state: a sense of connection. In response, they launched Energy, an internal publication sharing staff’s personal stories.
