Advancing Quality Improvement Across Public Health
ResourcesSession Summary
This session showcases quality improvement (QI) from two angles: implementation and alignment. First, PHAB will outline how health departments can meet performance management and QI measures with clarity and confidence, offering tips for simplifying documentation and understanding reviewer expectations. Then, North Carolina will share how it improved its hiring process using QI tools to test and scale changes with measurable results. Participants will leave with strategies for linking hands-on improvement work to the broader performance and accreditation frameworks that sustain public health progress improvements across the agency.
