Register for the 2025 PHIG Annual Recipient Convening (ARC): Gateway to Growth, taking place in St. Louis, Missouri from August, 18-21, 2025! The ARC will bring together health department leaders, technical assistance providers, and other key public health partners from across the nation to share innovative approaches for building public health infrastructure and gain insights to improve health outcomes in their communities
Additional components of the ARC include the Preconference: Data Modernization (DM) in Motion and Peer Network sessions (by invitation only).
Who should attend the ARC?
The primary audience for the ARC is PHIG Component A recipient health departments. Each health department can register up to four individuals for in-person attendance with the following roles strongly encouraged to participate: PHIG Principal Investigator, Workforce Director, Data Modernization Director, and Evaluator. Other participants will include PHIG National Partners, other technical assistance providers, public health agency partners, and relevant subject matter experts.
ARC attendees will participate in engaging sessions to explore public health infrastructure foundations and community impact; foster collaboration and leverage partners to meet evolving needs; and advance innovation, scalability, and sustainability in infrastructure efforts.
Who should attend the data modernization preconference?
The preconference will create a space for data modernization and informatics leaders to connect with each other, national partners, and Data Modernization Implementation Centers through interactive learning sessions.
Attendees should expect to participate in sessions that will strengthen collaboration and strategic alignment within public health agencies and across national modernization efforts; enhance understanding of how modern data standards and emerging technologies improve data capacity, sharing and use; and explore innovative approaches to advance data modernization efforts.
Each PHIG Component A recipient health department can register one attendee for the preconference; a waitlist will be available for additional attendees, if any spots are unfilled. Please note that the ARC agenda will also include a wide variety of data modernization sessions and content for all participants.
PHIG Component A recipients registering for the preconference will be considered one of their health department’s four attendees for ARC.
