ASTHO is excited to announce a new opportunity for public health professionals and community members to develop their public health stories. The inaugural Public Health Story Lab is a storytelling coaching program that will run from October – December 2026 and culminate with a live storytelling event in early December! The program includes four 90-minute group coaching sessions, individualized feedback, optional one-on-one coaching with a professional storytelling coach, and participation in the final live event!
Anyone with a meaningful public health experience is encouraged to apply, even if the story is not yet complete. No previous storytelling or public speaking experience is required!
Interested participants can apply here: Public Health Story Lab: Storyteller Application or visit the Funding & Collaboration Opportunities ASTHO webpage.
Applications close on October 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
