The American Journal of Public Health, in collaboration with NNPHI, invites PHIG recipients (direct and indirect) and PHIG partners (T/TA providers, evaluators, practitioners, public health institutes, etc.) to submit abstracts for a special supplement on strengthening public health infrastructure. The supplement will highlight the use and impact of the funding, promising and innovative practices, and lessons learned.
Anyone who has worked on PHIG-supported projects is strongly encouraged to consider submitting an abstract. Organizations that received funding from PHIG grantees and not directly from CDC are also eligible to submit an abstract.
Deadlines and Key Dates:
- Informational Webinar: April 2, 2026 – Register Here
- Abstract Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026. No late submissions will be accepted.
- Decision Notifications: September 30, 2026
- Manuscript Submission Deadline: February 26, 2027
- Supplement Closes: August 2027
- Journal Publication: November 2027
