Tribes and Tribal-serving organizations are invited to a live Q&A webinar series about the Tribal Implementation Center (Tribal IC), program to support Tribal public health data modernization through the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG)! Hosted by the PHIG National Partners and Chickasaw Health Consulting, these three webinars provide a space for American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes and Tribal organizations to ask questions, discuss priorities, and learn what to expect from the Tribal IC.
About the Tribal IC Program:
The Tribal Implementation Center (Tribal IC) is part of the Public Health Data Modernization Implementation Center program, which is supported by CDC’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG). The Tribal IC, operated by Chickasaw Health Consulting (CHC) in coordination with PHIG National Partners, will provide hands-on support and expertise to make it easier for Tribes, public health and healthcare agencies to share and use public health data. It is intended to help Tribes get the data they need to improve health outcomes in their communities.
Opportunities to apply for implementation support will begin in Fall 2025. While only federally-recognized Tribes, Tribal Epidemiology Centers, and Tribal consortia are eligible for implementation support at this time, we are committed to developing data modernization resources that are relevant and valuable to all Tribal organizations. We welcome questions and feedback from all Tribal groups and Tribal-serving organizations to help guide this work. Visit the Tribal IC webpage to learn more.
