REGION 9 ONLY: Establishing, Supporting and Mobilizing Strong Community Partnerships Workshop Series

Building community-based partnerships and supporting authentic community engagement are essential to impacting the social determinants of health impacting the communities we serve. This training series will cover foundational concepts around practical and strategic approaches for achieving optimal community cooperation and collaboration. Each session in the series will build on the concepts covered in the previous session and be facilitated in an interactive fashion that allows for cross sharing and collective learning.

This workshop series is exclusively available to public health professionals employed by health departments in Region 9 that are direct recipients of PHIG funding AND who directly facilitate or manage public partnerships and/or community engagement efforts for their health department. Participants must attend Session One and opt-in to the workshop series to receive registration information for subsequent sessions in the series.
