Public Health Improvement Training (In-Person)

Public Health Improvement Training (PHIT) offers a one-of-a-kind professional development experience to health department professionals and their partners through small workshops with peer learning, purposeful networking, and practical sessions with interactive activities to practice skills. Participants can choose from a variety of workshops on performance improvement topics such as quality improvement, performance management, national accreditation and reaccreditation, health assessment and improvement planning, workforce development, equity and more.

PHIT is intended for health department leaders, staff, and partners who aim to improve health outcomes through performance improvement processes.

In-person PHIT will be May 20- 21, 2024 in New Orleans preceding the NNPHI Annual Conference.

The virtual PHIT will be June 3-5, 2024. No need to worry if you cannot attend in-person PHIT, Virtual PHIT will offer twice the number of sessions as the in-person PHIT.
