Hawaii DOH Advances Accreditation Prep, Quality Improvement Work with PHIG

The Hawaii Department of Health leveraged PHIG funding to prepare for PHAB accreditation, a milestone in advancing its culture of quality improvement. PHIG is also supporting the development of a performance management dashboard, enhancing transparency and progress tracking for quality improvement initiatives. Participation in peer networks has provided valuable insights into best practices, aligning accreditation efforts with strategic planning to ensure lasting benefits for the department and the community. Pending approval of an Accreditation/Strategic Planning Coordinator position will further sustain these achievements.
